The JEµVCO is a very basic sound source. It provides game-style digitally generated soundwaves. Even though it is quite inexpensive, the module feature quite a punch. Frequency control is standard 1V/octave using CV input. A knob provides frequency tuning. There are two independent oscillators on each module, packed into a one 6 HP front panel. This module can rapidly expand your sound creation needs.
Since this module is declared open source, all schematics and PCB design documents are freely available together with firmware source code (and compiled HEX). The module is still in early development, so the documentation is not yet released, but expect it to be very soon. Later, the module will also be available as a fully assembled unit, and as a DIY kit. It is very simple in design, and that's why the price is so appealing. The module spans 4 octaves by default, but the frequency range can be switched between low and high ranges.
This module is declared as open source. The current schematic can currently be downloaded as a PDF. The complete project will be uploaded when we are happy with the design, including PCB design documents and front panel design in STEP and original file format.
Jiisuki Industries gives a 2-year warranty on all synthesizer modules and accessories and guarantees that it will be free of faults within this time period. The warranty does not cover any fault that has been caused by faulty operation or disregard to any instructions within the operating manual. The warranty does not cover error due to powering the module while still damp or wet after cleaning. The warranty does not cover any faults due to thunderstorms or other acts of nature. The warranty is limited for DIY kits, as Jiisuki Industries can not guarantee the build quality at the customer side. However, we will try our best to meet satisfaction. The warranty does not cover any faults on DIY-kits due to static discharge (ESD).
Jiisuki Industries does not pay for delivery cost for any warranty errands. The user have to pay postage to ensure that the module reaches Jiisuki Industries in a safe and sound manner. However, Jiisuki Industries does stand for the postage fee for the return journey to the customer. Jiisuki Industries can not stand liable for any damage caused to anyone, or anything by the use of any product.
